Most units publish capacity at T1 — 35 °C outdoor. Saudi summer is not 35 °C. The ASSG CMTAZ publishes its T3 figure at 46 °C (16,800 and 18,900 Btu/h) and is verified to 55 °C. You can see what you actually get on the worst day.

Most air conditioners are rated at 35 °C. Saudi summers are not 35 °C. These units publish their performance at T3 — 46 °C outdoor — and are verified to operate up to 55 °C.
Inverter compressor and fan motor

How quiet is the indoor unit really?
Both models run at 30 dB(A) on the indoor unit in quiet mode — quieter than a typical library. At maximum fan speed they measure 47 dB(A) on the 18 and 49 dB(A) on the 24.
Will it still cool at the peak of a Saudi summer?
The units publish rated performance at T3 conditions — 46 °C outdoor air — and are verified by the manufacturer to operate up to 55 °C. At T3 the 18 delivers 16,800 Btu/h and the 24 delivers 18,900 Btu/h.
Which size do I need?
The ASSG18CMTAZ at 18,000 Btu/h suits bedrooms, home offices and small majlis of roughly 16–22 m². The ASSG24CMTAZ at 21,200 Btu/h suits living rooms and larger majlis of roughly 22–30 m². Ceiling height, glazing and insulation all shift this — ask us if you’re between sizes.
Does an inverter really lower the electricity bill?
An inverter compressor varies its speed instead of switching fully on and off, so it draws less power holding a room at temperature. These units are rated SEER 16.45 and 15.25 Btu/W.h under SASO 2663:2021. Cooling is the largest single share of household electricity use in Saudi homes, so seasonal efficiency has a direct effect on what you pay.
Does it need professional installation?
Yes — and it matters more than people expect. A split unit has to be fitted by a qualified technician: the copper lines measured, flared and vacuumed, the refrigerant charge checked, and both units mounted level and secure. Mangeer AC arranges installation by an authorised team, which is also what keeps the manufacturer warranty valid. A rushed handyman job is the most common cause of weak cooling, leaks and voided warranty.
